What is Rise Navigator?

Rise Navigator is an AI-powered tool created by the AICPA and CIMA to help members explore future-oriented insights about the accounting and finance profession. It uses curated research and session content from the Rise Navigator initiative to answer questions about trends, skills, and strategies shaping the profession through to 2040.

How does Rise Navigator work?

Rise Navigator uses a conversational AI interface grounded exclusively in approved Rise Navigator datasets. Simply type your question and receive insights drawn from curated research content. There is no open internet search - all responses are based on trusted, vetted materials.

What can I ask?

You can ask about any topic covered by the Rise Navigator initiative, including:

  • Future skills and competencies for accountants and auditors
  • Technology trends affecting the profession
  • Strategic scenarios and profession outlook to 2040
  • Sustainability reporting and ESG trends
  • Innovation and digital transformation

Who can use Rise Navigator?

Rise Navigator is available free of charge to all registered users of the AICPA & CIMA site globally and to all our members.

Login to Rise2040.com Rise Navigator tool - Existing AICPA & CIMA account holders

This will provide you with immediate access to Rise Navigator. Please follow these steps:

  1. Click the "Try It Now" button.
  2. On the next page, you see "Continue to Rise Navigator."
  3. Enter your existing email address and password on your account and click the Log in button.

Registering new account holders

To access Rise Navigator, you must create a log in. Please follow these steps to register for an account:

  1. Click the "Try It Now" button.
  2. On the next page, you see "Continue to Rise Navigator."
  3. Click the "Sign up now" button located below Continue to Rise Navigator.
  4. Complete all required fields on the registration form and submit the "Sign Up" request.
  5. You will receive an AICPA & CIMA account verification email. Open the email and complete the verification process.
  6. After verification, you will be presented with a "Set up security methods" page, which provides options such as Google Authenticator or Okta Verify for multi-factor authentication (MFA). This step is optional. You may configure a security method or click "Continue" to skip this step.
  7. Once the account setup is complete, you will be automatically redirected to Rise and logged in successfully.
  8. Additional emails, including the Rise Welcome Email, will be delivered after the account setup process is completed.
  9. Thereafter you can return to the Rise2040.com site using your new registration details and click "Login", and sign in using your registered email and password by selecting "Log in with AICPA & CIMA."
